Team Envy has officially returned to Rocket League with today’s announcement of the signing of Vanguard, the former roster of Ghost Gaming.
The roster of Braxton “Allushin” Lagarec, Nick “mist” Costello, and Massimo “Atomic” Franceschi will represent Envy for the first time at the North American Rocket League Spring Series, which begins play today following qualifiers this past week.

Envy first entered Rocket Leaugue in June 2017, picking up the recently-crowned RLCS champions of Northern Gaming. However, internal issues led to a roster change before the next RLCS season began, and the trio of Remco “Remkoe” den Boer, David “Deevo” Morrow, and Marius “gReazymeister” Ranheim had a rough next season.
The organization exited in July 2018, following a 7th-8th place finish at the RLCS Season 5 World Championship in London, and has been out of the game for the nearly two years until now.
Envy is a long-running, very successful organization in other games, and they could provide the resources to help this promising ex-Ghost roster reach new heights after a 3rd-4th place finish at last season’s NA regional championship. We’ll see whether the signing helps give them an immediate boost this weekend at the Spring Series.
